Advertising on websites such as Facebook and Google can be challenging. I see companies crushing it on such platforms, and I see others try and follow in their footsteps just to blow through a bunch of money without seeing any results. It can be painful knowing others are doing something right while you’re struggling, so in this blog post, I will show you a neat trick to succeed when using those platforms.
You need 2 thank you pages
If you’re trying to collect leads, you need to create 2 thank you pages inside the Hiring portal of BookingKoala. It’s super important to do that because sites like Facebook show ADs to those who keep filling out your forms. If you have three people fill out your form, Facebook will use that data to guide your ADs to people similar to those three people.
Their algorithm is fantastic that way, but there’s a significant problem here. If the people that fill out your forms are horrible leads, Facebook will just spend your money and get more identical leads for you. What’s good about having 100 terrible leads when 90 of them ghost you when calling them and the other 10 are not qualified? Nothing. It’s a waste of money.
To solve this, you need to create 2 thank you pages and allow Facebook to track one of them only. Inside BookingKoala, when you’re setting up your forms, you need to set them up in a way where the bad leads end up on one thank you page and the good leads end up on the other thank you page.
How does this work?
You create a form that has a bunch of questions on it. Then you create rules that guide each interaction towards your goal. For example, if your question is ‘Do you have a valid driver’s license’ and someone says no, you can qualify them as a bad lead. If they answer the questions as yes, then they can be a good lead. Set up all your questions, and if all are answered correctly, the user will end up on the 2nd thank you page where all qualified leads go.
You will want to track only qualified leads that land on the 2nd thank you page when running your ads. The system will now look for more qualified leads while ignoring bad leads. This is the secret that will make your marketing campaigns a success. If you need help setting up 2 thank you pages, please visit our help center.
