Have you ever tried automating a business so that your business keeps growing without you? If you have, you already know that starting a business and automating it isn’t easy. It certainly doesn’t happen overnight. Automating a business is a process. It is a math problem that takes months to solve, and it is a math problem that anyone can solve no matter if they have a $100 or they have a $1,000,000 to start with. Both budgets require a different type of hard work. In this blog post, I will show you how to automate your service business, and I will focus on doing it with a small budget of $100.
Have a clear goal and surpass it
Do you have a clear goal? Is your goal to profit $50,000 annually? Is it to profit $100,000 annually? Whatever your goal is, it has to be precise. You then have to believe in that goal, and once you achieve that goal, you have to surpass it. Surpassing your goal is extremely important. It is important because, in business, there will always be ups and downs. That means that you want to prepare yourself for those ups and downs and aim to double your goal at the very least. Getting to $50,000 or even to $100,000 requires a strategy, and that strategy has to be well planned out.
Execution comes next, and this is the part that involves a lot of work. To hit your goal, you have to keep executing over and over again. The faster you execute, the quicker your goals will be met.
Outsource all of the work if you can
This is where a lot of people get stuck. Your goal is to focus on growing your business. That means that you have to find a worker that performs the service on your behalf right from the start. It is a barrier that you have to cross to focus on marketing. You can’t possibly focus on performing the job, doing customer service, coming home tired, and attempting to figure out how to grow your business. Marketing is a full-time job. Sacrificing profits short term will allow you to learn how to grow your service long term.
Figure out three channels that bring in clients
Start by finding one channel that brings in money. Once you learn to leverage it, you can move onto the next channel. Perfect one channel, then find two more channels. You never want to have just one channel bringing in customers. You never know when that channel may stop working for you. Always have at least 3 and if one stops working, find a new one so that you can always be in a safe spot.
Find systems to help handle everything for you
Learn to incorporate systems into your business. They will help you get your company organized and over time will save you thousands of dollars per month. Later you can use that money towards marketing so that you can grow even faster. Examples of systems: software such as BookingKoala, manuals, and guides for employees to refer to when they need help, and managers. All of that is extremely important when automating any business, and the bigger you get, the more critical they become. You’d be amazed how much faster your company can grow simply by staying organized.
Hire office employees
The last thing you will need to automate your business entirely is to hire employees. This should come later if you have a small budget. You will want to hire a customer service agent, a recruiter to help onboard providers, a marketer, and a manager who seeks the entire operation. Hire them as you grow and keep working as a team until you’ve met your goals. It’s a plus if you’ve experienced a specific process yourself before hiring someone to do it for you. Performing specific things yourself will allow you to save enough money to hire the necessary help, and it will enable you to develop specific procedures for your business. You will later teach these procedures to everyone else.
To grow an automated business, you will first want to have a goal then surpass that goal once you achieve it to put yourself in a safe spot. Make sure to outsource all of your work, have three marketing channels that you’ve perfected, incorporate systems into your business, and hire the necessary help once you’ve saved enough money.
