How does the BookingKoala software help your mobile car wash?

Let’s start with an overview of the customer portal

Suppose the customer books with your company, or you book them over the phone. In that case, an account is instantly created for that customer:

From this account, customers can make more bookings as well as make changes.

They can easily modify the bookings, reschedule or even cancel the service.

You, as the owner, can set up limitations on what your customers can do. For example, if you don’t want them canceling any bookings on their own, you can stop them from doing so, resulting in an influx of calls and emails.

What else can the customer do?

Refer friends:

If this client comes back and finishes the booking they will stop receiving emails and will be automatically moved to a different list of your choosing. If they are now recurring customers, they can be sent new emails such as refer friends or send gift cards (this will earn more revenue and business from them).

Now, let’s move on to the employee/contractor portal.

Detailer’s portal

As the business owner, you can create logins for your detailers. Once you’ve made them an account, they will be able to access it from anywhere on a computer, mobile phone, or tablet.

From here, the detailers can view their upcoming and completed bookings. Everything is updated in real-time, and you can adjust what detailers can see when checking their jobs or how they are notified.

You can also control how they get their jobs:

  • If you want them to get a job automatically, you can do so (without saying if they will do the job or not).
  • Suppose you want them to review the job and accept it before the job is theirs. In that case, you can do that too (a helpful feature for contractors allowing them to decide if they want the job or not. This feature works like Uber or Lyft).

A couple of things that occur on their end:

  • If a customer cancels: the booking will be automatically removed from their account.
  • If a customer reschedules: they will be notified of the change (if you want them to be), and the job will carry on with them, or if not, a new provider will get it.

Unassigned folder:

You can enable the “Unassigned folder” that holds jobs that are not yet assigned to anyone. The purpose of this section is to allow bookings to be placed on a waitlist in case a certain spot becomes available or a detailer decides they’d like to make some extra money and pick up the job.

Once a job lands in the unassigned folder, the detailers from that location and who can perform that job, will get notified and be able to see it and grab it. If they like the job, they can grab it instantly without ever reaching out to you to see if it’s okay.

What else can they do?

  • See their payment history with a detailed description of each job.
  • See all tips they’ve been given.
  • View reviews that have been given to them.
  • Clock in and out of each job so you can track them (for payment or other purposes).
  • Request schedule modifications and you can decide if it’s automatically approved and adjusted or if you need to manually approve the requests.

Last, let’s take a look at the admin portal.

Admin portal

The moment you sign up for our software, an account will be created for you, along with all the tools you need to grow or start your mobile car wash business.

Your account will also come with a built-in free website.

Dashboard:

Inside the admin portal, you can view all of your upcoming jobs, your completed jobs, and any jobs that are not yet assigned to an employee or contractor.
